Puzzle 82 – “Here’s the Story…”

First puzzle of 2023 is themed! The circled squares offer a clue to the theme, as does the title.
This was a bit of an experiment to see how much theme material I could get into a standard-sized grid… which wound up being just a touch oversized, at 16×15, to account for it all.
