Puzzle 100 – “Play It Again”

Puzzle 100! I’ve had such fun bringing these to yall every week for nearly two years now. And last week I promised something big for this milestone, and I meant it literally. So this time around, it’s this site’s first ever Sunday-sized puzzle.
We’ve got a themed 21×21 here, loosely inspired by how we all love a good cover song. A new creative vision. One might even say… a musical re-make, given new context by a new performer. You’ll see what I mean.
I’ve appreciated every kind comment and encouragement from every solver who’s stopped by this site for the first hundred… and I look forward to keeping on keeping on, with yet more here every Tuesday.

Wow, this 21×21 is a treat! And I’m a fan of yours because I’m a Baby-Boomer who has over 2K LPs and I always enjoy whenever you put some of the bands/music from the mid-60s to the mid-90s in your puzzles. (In my opinion, that was the best era in popular music!)

The standout clue for me was 98D “Power forward”, and I immediately started thinking B-Ball, but the answer was “propel”. Very nice misdirect!
And TY for 69D – “Deep Springs College” sounds fantastic, and it was a great inclusion by you!
