Uncreative title here for what I hope plays to yall as a creative themeless grid.
35-Across was the seed entry; I do like how the triple-stacks on the left and right sides wound up. Favorite clue here, no doubt, is 14-Across, though all credit for that bit of cleverness has to go to the headline writer and not to me… 55-Across is a close second, though. On the punny misdirect front, I do like 8-Down too.
