Why this title for this week’s themeless? Eh, you’ll figure it out. Seed entry here was 23-Across, and then when 48-Across presented itself as a possibility, I thought, hey, maybe we’re onto something (… something … something … something). I’ve clued this one just a touch tougher than average, I sense, or maybe that’s only because this one feels a little heavy on the proper names.
