We are less than a week away from the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament! I’m excited to be attending my second ACPT. If you’re making the trip to Stamford, CT this weekend, I certainly hope to meet you. I’m planning on having a puzzle available at the giveaway table. Please say hi!
The seed entries for this week’s themeless were the two 13-letter entries at 24-Across and 48-Across; the title here can apply to both. Favorite clues: 26-Across for the misdirect, and 51-Down for the fun fact. I also kinda dig how the cross-referenced 64-Across and 65-Across wound up.
