Puzzle 89 – “I’m a Fool to Do Your Dirty Work”

Okay, so title aside, this one isn’t really super Steely Dan-centric. It’s not a full-on Grid Charlemagne (though he does get a shout-out at 2-Down). But it’s been a little while (39 weeks, actually) since we’ve had much Fagen-Becker presence here. Matt can have a little Dan, as a treat.
Seed entry here, actually, wasn’t 45-Across, but 22-Across, which is also my favorite clue of this one. I also realize I’ve been slacking on the Muppety presence in my crosswords lately, so 1-Down should help make up for that.

I had trouble in the bottom left corner. My fault though. I threw the wrong word in for 50 across and it took me a minute to recover.
I do love trying to find novel cluing angles for some of these 3-letter workhorses…
