Puzzle 170 – “Very Cool”

As the title says, this one is very cool, right? It’s certainly very themeless. And 1-Across is very cool. I’m of the opinion that 60-Across is very cool too. Are there entries in here that are less than very cool? Sure. If everything were very cool, then nothing would be very cool.
Seed entries here were 1-Across and 60-Across–the very cool ones–and then the rest of the grid was an exercise in connecting top and bottom. May it all read as very cool to you too.
